Default ST185 Major Limp Mode Probs

    Hey all,

I have a major limp mode issue with no error codes recorded.
    ECU you think?

    It backfired & died.
I changed the coil & got it going but it won't boost or go above 50km/h.

It seems to be electronic like a sensor or ECU but like I said - no error codes.

    It has me stuffed.

Does anyone have a ST185 in NSW that I can try my ECU in their vehicle?

    Bourkey

I'd also be checking fuel delivery - sounds like it's not getting enough?!
"Took the header plugs off hey, expecting some action?"
"Yeah, I think so - there's some punk looking for me"

It is NOT mechanical or fuel or air.
    It's electronic.

did you reset the ECU after you got it home?
As they say in the book, assembly is the reverse of dismantling, but slower cos you forgot where all the bits are

No probs at all & all settings are correct.
I think it may be the ECU.
