I have seen some for sale and they mention that the rear is 8.5" (no mention on offset though), is there any truth to this?

Yep, rear wheels are 1" wider than fronts. I currently have a set on my Celsior.

From the wheels:

Front 16" x 7 1/2'.

Rear 16" x 8 1/2".

The offset would be around 45mm from memory.

theyre probably mine for sale
was told they were 8.5" on the rear so made this thread to confirm
it seems there was an option for 8.5" rears or they came on a particular model
will confirm the size once i take delivery of the car

for anyone interested:

the aristo also comes with 8.5" rims on the rear
must have been a factory option or only on a certain model because they are not many around.

the offset is also +50.

The Chrome look rims were the optional "wide wheel pack"
