Hi
im trying to fix a car that someone junked the oxygen sensors wires out from their place in the conector/sticker, everything seems to be fine cept that i dont know where they go. The connectors on the car loom has all diffrent colors from the sensor, so im clueless about this.
The car loom colors are;
black w/red stripe, red w/black stripe, brown (or orange?), black.
the sensors colors are;
blue, white, black, black.
does anyone know wich ones goes together?
Thanks in advance

on the sensor, black and black are the heater power and ground
i would think they would go to the black w/ red stripe and red w/ black stripe on the car loom.
you can check cos one of them should be ground, and one should be +12V with power to IGN.
i think black on loom is for the sensor signal, and brown is ground.
i can7t find the excellent table with all different colours atm but i have linked it before.
here is vague bosch table.

Thanks for answer.
I been studying the wiring diagram and it agrees with you, so i think i can figure it out now.
one last question tho, it says the two blacks on the sensor both are for heather, does it matter wich of thoose two i hook the wires up to? the red with black stripe and black with red stripe, can each of them go to any of the two blacks on the sensor since their both for heating`?
the car is a 92 corolla ae92 with 4afe.
thanks again for ur answers
black wires on heater are identical, so it doesn't matter which is heater and which is ground... in fact there is no way to tell any difference anyway
as for the blue and white on the sensor... once you start the car, you can put multimeter on it, and the signal wire will be positive voltage. if the voltage is negative, then you have +ve multi wire on the ground wire![]()
