What engine swap choices do i have for a 1992 hilux extra cab auto on petrol??
Pricing etc etc

a drive in drive out all engineered all parts included price for a 1uz

will be around 8000 to 9000 dollars

what do u want to spend

easy conversions are 1uz and 1gg ive even done sr20t in them

and they go better than a 1uz or 1gg in std form

1jz can be done too

do u want power or do u want cheap job

anyting efi will need an efi fuel system

just remember and price or quote u get add another grand ontop incase of small probs

or small things u forgot to account for as its very easy to forget stuff

and another thing is reading all the shit on these forums can sometimes make it sound cheap or easy

not many conversions are cheap these days unless you get everything for free and do the work yourself

Ain't it the truth brother

Don't let anyone tell you it is a weekend job. The 1GGxx conversion (if you've never done one or it before) has so many attendant problems and hurdles that you'll be soon cursing and swearing with the best of us, and asking yourself "WHY?"

But, in the end, it is a learning experience.
