    She is a real champ! We spent NYE in the workshop, with her helping whenever I needed a hand holding stuff in position to make brackets.

    my missus is the same...but she lasts about an hr, then buggers off lol

    im keen as this is what i will be doing as soon as i can afford the turbo.

    What are you planning to do about the exhaust's proximity to those rubber radiator hoses and plastic timing belt covers?

    Since you seem to be handy with fabrication you can probably make up some nice heat shields, and you could move the top hose to the other end of the radiator if you wanted to make some more space.

    Woven glass fibre, the same as "thermotec" header wrap, but without the massive markup. Available in a shitload of different sizes and shapes. If you look in the yellowpages under industrial insulation you should be able to track down a vendor.

    is your supra a turbo A or has it just got the turbo A duct?

    also what size tyres have you managed to fit over the 7 inch stockies... theres some serious over hang going on there.
    JZA70|R / 12.45 @ 111 mph.

    Yeah, it's a Turbo A. I still have the motor and ECU for sale

    The rear tyres are 255, I think the rims are stock JZA80.
