    Default OS Giken products

    Hey peeps,

Otomoto have been the Australian and New Zealand distributors for Japanese OS Giken parts for a number of years now, specialising in single and multi-plate racing clutches, cross gear sets, mechanical LSD centres, and even 1500hp-capable RB30 crate engines.
Our most exciting addition to the line up in recent times has been the release of the 'STR' twin plate clutch system. Designed for road use, the STR provides a much more user-friendly operation than conventional twin plate units, despite still being rated to handle 600 flywheel horsepower. Included in each kit is the clutch itself, an OS Giken chromemoly flywheel, and a bearing/carrier set or pull-push converter where required.

The STR is available for the following models:

    SW20 - $2100
    JZZ30 - $2550
    JZA70 - $2550
    JZX90 - $2550
    JZA80 - $2550

Of course, we can also offer a huge range of other clutches, from 4AGE singles to quad-plate monsters, capable of 1200hp+.

The legendary OS Giken 'Super-Lock' LSD centre is available for most popular Toyota models, with smooth operation and superior locking available via the use of 14 plates per side as opposed to the usual 6-8 plates per side of most aftermarket centres.
Perfect for street, drift, drag, or circuit work, the Super Lock LSD can be supplied for JZA70, JZX90, JZX100, JZX110, JZA80, JZZ30, UZZ30, JZS147, JZS161/GS300, and also T-series rear ends (T-18, Jap AE86 etc).

    Hey mate,

Sorry for mis-leading, but I actually had a major brain-fart when creating the above post. Unfortunately we cannot supply an aftermarket gear set for R154 boxes.
Once again, sorry for the confusion. My bad!

ae95 - Prices for the GT-R bits are as follows:

    R4C quad-plate clutch to suit R34 GT-R - $3595 (includes pull-push conversion kit and is rated to around 1200hp)

3-gear cross mission set to suit R34 GT-R - $3000 (Reinforced input shaft is also available for $870)

5-gear cross mission set to suit R34 GT-R - $4275 (Includes reinforced input shaft)

You're probably better off going for an STR twin plate. Very driver-friendly, and rated to 600hp.

    $2550 including pull-push converter (usually $580 seperately).

That's everything from flywheel to clutch cover, and completely rebuildable with all parts available seperately.

If you really wanted a single plate, you're looking at either $2100 with a billet aluminium cover, or $1950 with a pressed steel cover

    Cheers,

    Jeremy.

    Hey mate,

It depends on the clutch. Plates cost anywhere from $200 to 460 each. If you're running a JZ engine you'd be looking at the upper end of that scale too.

Complete rebuild kit prices are as follows:

Overhaul A Set (New clutch disks, centre plates, pressure plate and bolts) - approx. $1000

Overhaul B Set (New clutch disks, centre plates, pressure plate, clutch cover, bolts - approx. $1300

    Cheers,

    Jeremy.

Hi James, you will be looking at $1495.00 for a pressed steel cover single plate for 4A-GE including release bearing and carrier. The flywheel diameter is 215mm though. Do you have a OS single on a 225mm flywheel?

    Grant,

no i do not have a 225mm flywheel but was hoping to go up to that size when i changed to a supra box,

a 215mm would probably still be suitable, is that a super single??

also is a lightened flywheel supplied with the single kits??

    thanks for your reply.

    James

Hey man, ive got a TS2CD on my supra at the moment. its got the 7mgte flyweel as ive been using it on my 7m motor. but im swapping to a 2jz very soon and i'd like to keep this clutch as i love it. what would a new flywheel set me back ? i'd be looking at the 1jz TS2CD as its got the same bolt pattern for the 2j and it should be the right flywheel for connecting my R154 to the 2j.

HI Byteme, soory for the slow response.

A TS2CD flywheel will set you back $675.00 in GST.

It would have to be specially orderd and as such, requires full payment up front.

You can contact my on (02) 98981655 or email: grant@otomoto.com.au for further information.

    Cheers

Hi guys, OS Giken adjustable cam gears are now in stock for 1JZ and 2JZ engines. See the official release below:

Otomoto is pleased to announce the addition of Toyota 1JZ-GTE and 2JZ-GTE adjustable cam gears to the existing range. As the laser-etched logo suggests, these gears are made exclusively for Otomoto by OS Giken. Made from hard-anodised duralumin for superior durability, there is no better cam gear on the market. Other models include Nissan SR20 and RB-series engines. The new 1JZ/2JZ cam gears are priced at $199.00 each.

OS Giken adjustable cam gears are one of the best-value modifications you can make to your engine. Even a single adjustable cam gear (on the exhaust side) can give a significant power improvement across the rev range.

    * note Toyota VVT-i engines can only use the OS Giken gear on the exhaust side

For more information or to place an order, contact Otomoto on (02) 98981655 or check them out on the website at www.otomoto.com.au
