first thing i would check before even worrying about whats involved is measure the thing up.
if its not a very similar size its not even worth thinking about whats involved

it's quite possible to graft things into other things, as long (as faulksy already said) it physically fits...

but you can be creative and cut it to bits and remount the dials and such, and rewire, etc.... it also heavily depends on the inputs needed (temp senders and speedo drive/elec sender etc) but if you have the JZA70 engine.. then the dash should be easy to hook up.

it's all fun... if it doesn't physically fit.. you could always change the dash to make it fit

If I recall correctly the JZA70 Dash cluster could be grafted with out too much fuss as the upper dash skins are somewhat similar.

I assume that by JZA70 dash you mean the Digi dash? This is a little trickier than the anolog dash as the analog dash is a fairly basic in terms of the input to drive the guages. the digi dash has converters for some of the signals that are external to the cluster. Speedo input comes to mind immediatly. Should come close to fitting in the Hilux skin with some custom work to the shroud around it to finish it.

If the wiring is an easy proposition and you are planning on swapping the whole dash, Skins, vents and all. I would recommend purchasing the left overs of a front cut and disassemble the dash and fit it piece by piece and fixing brackets off the existing metal dash skin of the Hilux to accept the Supra parts to achieve the factory finish.

If you need some wiring diagrams I might be able to find the site that had them.

    Cheers
