AE92 4AF Coil & Igntion Help

I went to buy a new coil for my ae92 today and the ones that echlin and tridon listed didn't look nothing like it and they also said that i have an igntion module (bosch book didn't have nothing listed) Has anyone had this problem?

there might be a superseeded number for the coil, thats why it may look the way it does. was it a short little stumpy one? like the bosch super spark or what ever they are.....

i think that you would have an igntion module, being electronic ignition. i think it might be that big box looking thing on the top of the dizzy there.....

There is an ignitor in the box on top of the dizzy, and they do sometimes have a habbit of failing.

yes it is a common 4 pin bosch ignition module mounted under the tin cover on the dizzy

hey buddy, i had the same problem, couldn't find mine though. its inside the dizzy.

look at my thread on the problem of where it is.

Its inside the dizzy, AND ITS A BITCH GETTING THE DIZZY CAP OFF !!!!! so get ready for a terrible time trying to take it off.

Just had a look at your pictures and yours is a different set-up. Mine has a coil lead coming off the distributor and yours doesn't. What month and year is yours becuase they changed the set-up in the 3/90
