Unusual for the ECU to not have direct power, what car is it in, I assume it was converted? If you can get the pinouts for the ECU you might find other wires to cut such as a vital sensor etc.

Hi,
After numerous head scratching episods including cutting the B+ and batt wires to my ecu, i still cant seems to kill switch it. It will still start weather it has power or not. What can i use to switch so the car turns over but doesnt actually start as there is no IGN wire on the ecu.
Thanks

Car is a ke70 with blacktop 20v
All my 4a variants havent had an IGN on the ECU pinouts. Now imlooking to cut something else, but what? Kinda funny the car still starts with no ecu power :O

you shouldnt really be cutting heaps of wires. if the ECU has no power then the car wont start.
it must be getting power from somewhere. it might be back feeding throught another circuit.
have you considered getting an imobiliser installed? it will probably save all the cutting wires, whiich can lead to faults in teh future.

That'll allow the car to turn over but not start.
