The Witzl = CONFIRMED
Technical Tour: Turbosmart Factory.
It's time a like minded group of uberlord technogeeks all gathered in one place to find out how big springs, diaphragms and whoosh valves are designed and built to quality standards.
We have arranged a factory tour with Turbosmart, a leader in the Australian aftermarket performance scene, developing Boost controllers, Blow off valves, External Wastegates and Fuel pressure regulators.
This is an exciting oppurtunity to see how these products are produced and discover the effort required to develop an idea into a retail sucess story!
There will also be an opportunity for a Question and Answer session at the end of the tour.
Where's the screamer cuz?
When: Friday 18th August @ 5pm.
Where: Ashfield. Further details will be disclosed privately.
Here is what Turbosmart have to say about themselves:
Alright, so the deal is that we are limited to 20 people max for this tech tour through the factory. As such, this will mean paid finnancial members will get first preference over non paid forum users. ONLY CONFIRM IF YOU WILL BE 100% COMING AND WILLING TO TAKE TIME OFF WORK TO GET THERE!!!Turbosmart is Australia’s leading manufacturer of turbo accessories.
Founded in 1996, Turbosmart quickly encompassed the burgeoning Australian market and became synonymous with high-quality performance turbo accessories. Starting with just a two-product line up, Turbosmart’s range has rapidly grown to
encompass a constantly broader spectrum of performance accessories. Today, Turbosmart’s range consists of over 300 products in 12 categories.
With the Australian market conquered, Turbosmart has turned its attention to the World. The products have quickly gained a solid reputation for quality and reliability and today, Turbosmart accessories are distributed in over 50 countries around the world and can be found in many world-record breaking vehicles in Australia, New Zealand, UK, USA, Canada and Puerto Rico to name a few.
An ever-increasing number of racing teams and tuning houses around the world use and recommend Turbosmart products. Their successes on the track and at street events are a testimony to Turbosmart’s design, manufacturing and testing principles. The feedback received from the racers and tuners alike contributes to the on-going development of Turbosmart products, reinforcing the philosophy of continual improvement.
No matter what the application, be it drag or circuit racing, rally, off-road, speed boating or street tuning, the DNA of reliability, innovation and performance is apparent in every Turbosmart product.

I thought you said at the meeting that this was the 11th?
Which is it?
If its the 18th, take me off the definite list as I'm still trying to sort out a trip to SA.
Yeah i lied.
I was aiming for 11th and they changed it to 18th.
