Rx7 Calliper Owners Beware

Just thought id let people know through my own mistakes, beware of die grinding off the MAZDA logo on your 4 pot callipers.

On the series 5/6, they have a high ridge which the mazda is cast into. You must only remove the logo, not the ridge! If you remove the ridge as i did, you grind into the brake fluid passage. Not cool...Just as well i had a spare!

With the series 4, there is a little knob just under where the mazda logo is cast - once again this is a fluid passage. only remove the mazda logo.

curiously shane what do you do with the caliper?
I remember you asking for a fubared one for exactly the same reason from the old forums as well. do you repair it or something?
