Might come down for a look if I have nothing on at the time.
Entries are still open, anyone planning to head down for a look or to enter? (Entry at the moment is $65 until the 8th of August)
It's held at Moruya on the NSW South Coast, a couple of hours leisurely drive from Canberra. We are taking a couple of Toyotas down to enter in a few events.
It's a relaxed atmosphere and the cars range from rice to bogan to there is something for everyone.
Things to see include:
Show and Shine, Sound off stuff, dyno comp, driving events, burnouts, carnies, bogans and heaps of other cool stuff.

Enter the "Red Dragon"!! I have to work on Sunday so will only be there for the Saturday events. The driving events listed for Saturday are:Originally Posted by Rona

It's all very relaxed, I got a lot of runs in the events last year because they get the cars through very quickly so you only line up for a very short time![]()

Sounds like fun for the driving events once I start uni next week i'll know if I can enter, whats safety standards like, ie like cams fully clothed neck to toe and a helmet. No cams license or anything like that I hope.
If in doubt power out
The only thing they checked last year was that your battery was secure.Originally Posted by Rona
Last year they were very relaxed and it was pretty much shorts and t-shirt for the win.
This year it says in the entry that long sleeve, long pants are required, closed shoes (no thongs DAMN!!!), and a helmet, oh and you have to wear your seat belt this year too.
No CAMS licence or anything like that is required.

Got a link to the entry forms or the site i can get them off.
I should know next week whether I can enter or not I think uni starts back next week.
If in doubt power out
There in lies the problem, this event is welllllllllll a little backward when it comes to promotion and entries. They don't have a website and they don't have online entries or access to forms on line.Originally Posted by Rona
I will scan some copies of the forms though and then can email them to interested people. The only other way to get forms is from local automotive businesses here in Canberra.
