    MA60? no such thing.

    MA61's all have LSD's (from the factory), they are 7.5" "F" series. They will fit in any other F series diff carrier, this includes the IRS Corona's and Celica's, NOT the 2.0ltr S engine corona's.

    Do a search, there is an unbeliveable amount of info on this site about F series diffs.

    What he said. If (and only if) you have a Corona with IRS and an F series diff, the diff centres are a direct swap.

    Who knows? Most likely the magazine printed incorrect information - it happens all the time!

    in a toyota special by hot 4s (very gay magazine) they did a feature on the canberra celica club. i think it had the same celica in it. in that article they said it had a mk2 diff. would that be right????

    Yes, an MX13 Corona MkII has an F series diff which can be adapted to an early Celica, in fact that's exactly what I'm doing with my RA23. Note that a MkII is a completely different car to a regular Corona (like an ST141).

    The moral of the story, don't believe anything you read in a magazine!

    sorry to be an absolute nuisance, but in both magazines (has to be some truth between them), they state that the diff has st/rt141 discs on it....wtf???

    It's possible to adapt discs from a solid-axle xT14x to a MkII diff, or indeed just about any diff if you try hard enough.

    yes, but you also need a donor celica diff to remove the mounts from and attach to the MX13 diff.

    You might also have to get the diff shortened if you dont have an RA40 celica.

    Talk to Brett as he has done this for his RA40.

    If required you then puchase donor F-series diff with other ratios, likewise an F-series LSD if wanted - and then you get a diff shop to fit both items to the centre of your MX13 diff and use the left over bits as door-stops and ammunition to throw at the neighbor's kids.

    I wouldn't recommend shortening the diff, it's cheaper and easier to get wheels with higher offset to compensate for the extra width... or just fit wheelarch flares!

    From <http://akb.norbie.net/Public/AxleCode.aspx>

    F282 = 4.300:1 (Open Centre)
