Default Replacement struts to lower RA28 celica

Is there an aftermarket strut cartridge so that I can put in lower front springs on my RA28. The problem is that when the car is totally off the ground the lower springs are loose in the strut. This is due to the long travel of the shock. If I could get shorter travel shockies they should then hold the spring captive when under full extension.
I had to go back to standard springs to get it over the pits due to this factor. Now it looks crap.If I am going to put the springs back in I would prefer to get shorter travel shocks as well.

Lots and lots of information here. Basically all aspects of celica suspension are covered with Part numbers, the works!

You won't find anything specifically made for an RA28 which will do what you want, but a decent suspension shop will be able to find something which fits.

Depending on how much car has been lowered can fit a ta22 insert with a spacer on top has a bit shorter stroke.

I have a set of R132 corona struts that I was planning on fitting at a later date so that ican upgrade the brakes, so i will probably try and do something with those cartridges if that is possible.
