Mine neither, and in an aw11, you sit next to the fuel tank and pump. I've only driven about 50kms since putting it in, and I'm already considering installing the high/low pump relay and some 'in-tank' insulation for the pump. It's noisy as f..k!

MX62s (thanks wilbo!) have a handy external pump mounting bracket thingo.

Pump is firmly clamped but isolted from bracket by two rubber bushes. Bracket is further isolated from body via rubber bushes around the attachment points.

Mine came direct from Importbitz like that, perhaps they've updated the model slightly.

You can get "p clamps" from most autoparts stores. these are used for mounting pvc piping and all sorts of other things. they have a rubber sleave over them, (not sure if the rubber is safe for fuel though)

Narva make them. there only a couple of bucks each. might be worht looking into.

its pics you want aye, well why not use the standard setup like so:

note: big rubber ring around pump is about 4mm thick, so plently of insulation

came off a (dirty) vk commodore? the first fuel injected one? same phisical size as vl/camira.

but in my experience its not the high presure pumps that make the most noise its the low pressure lift pumps! probly cause everyone uses the facet style. tick tick tick tick...........

well the vl/camira one i have here is 50mm so if we replace the stadard rubber (4mm)with with a wrap of 10mm thick rubber the walbro should fit in the vk bracket right?

Should do, just as per the previous posts keep the amount of rubber to a minimum.
