any car can be converted to run lpg, its just that some motors require different hardware/modifications to run properly on it.

my 18rc for example isnt a fuel injected motor, so i just need a butterfly and a gas mixer (basically a gas injector/meter) in terms of hardware to make it run. I also fitted hardened valves (lpg doesnt lubricate my valves the way the old leaded petrol used to) and bronze valve guides to stop the valves sticking (also because of no lube).

Most EFI cars also require a control module to interface with the computer and assist in regulating the gas flow.

I am not familiar with a crown V8, but any reputable LPG conversion shop should be able to tell you over the phone exactly what is required to run LPG on your motor.

Are you intending on making it dual fuel??? Dedicated LPG???

    hope this helps...

dedicated LPG is much better and you can just get a LPG carby then

an engine designed for unleaded should have no worries running on LPG

i have a twin turbo supra engine on lpg carb

they just plug the injector holes if you go dedicated.
if you dont want a performance setup you could even look at lpg injection...its a growing world

tanks if OK are $120 to get checked and re-tested. try and get an APA tank if you can as they seem to be the better ones.

my TA22 uses a commodore APA tank and commodore mounts shortened and modified to suit the TA22.

joel. what do you need? let me know i might be able to help
