    Default 1j iscv cleaning

What is the best way to clean the idle control valve (iscv) on a 1jz? I have read the step by step guide for cleaning the 1G valve but im not sure if i can clean it well enough because you cant unscrew the black top like you can on the 1G :S Will it be ok if I just squirt some carby cleaner in it a few times and shake the hell out of it? lol

I figure that will work OK.

Just keep pumping in carby cleaner until it comes out pretty clean. Im not sure how much crud youd get out of it. Hope it fixes your problem.

I did this on my 1J and it made idle worse. Is there any post cleaning procedure that I should have done to resolve the erratic idle?
