I don't think its safe to assume anything at the moment.

I think our entries would have been in early enough to be within the first 650 ... I'm unsure as to wether any of the later entries have received confirmation letters.

Hopefully they are going to do their best to fit everyone in.. but if worst comes to worst, they could start refunding entries..
I would assume it would be on a first in best dressed policy.. but we'll just have to wait and see.

    Latest word from the Motorplex

We are currently snowed under with an exceptional number of entries – totally unprecedented – last year we took 707 entries for 650 spots – this year we have screamed passed 1,000 entries and are heading towards 1,100 as we speak (47 more arrived this morning – and some of them are A+ exceptional vehicles)….so we are working through a range of issues before making final decisions.

We do appreciate that entrants wish to know if they are accepted or not and wish to make plans…however we are in constant discussions daily about how to go about this situation…

All we can ask is for a little patience as we wish to ensure that the decisions made are in the best interest of the event and those who have entered.

hahah that will be the logical way to deal with it u want to know hwat peter said to our club in an email

i dont htink those late commes with exceptional aplus vehicles are gonna get turned away esp given they paid 300 and early people paid 150!!!

id say more then likely last 650 entrants will be accepted thgerefore all the people that paiud 300 are deff in and they will pick and chose between the rest..

i say lets boycott motorvation this year - shoulds like the fucksticks organisers need to be tought a lesson

    motorvation = teh ghey.

like 6 cars that arent ford or holden.

seriously, the only cars there, are holdens, fords, and WRX's

the same shit every year, last year i was pleased to see the OST crew, and a few laurels etc. etc.

but other than that, they're bulk crappy cars.

man - you gotta be joking.. (apart from the WRX part..)
The Jap cars are taking over!
Espcially this year.. SilviaWA, Supra Club, OST etc etc... a whole bunch of different clubs entering - hence the sudden rise in numbers.

I can also appreciate Motorvation more, as not everyone who has a car on display has spend $100,000 on a paint job or stereo install.
The cars are neat and well presented and most mods are done at home in the back garage. You gotta respect that!..

Its great for all car type enthusiests to get together and show off what they got and mingle with other rev-heads.

anyway.. this isn't the thread for arguing wether MV is good or not, its a discussion thread for those entering MV under the OST flag to share their ideas for display and the weekend in general.. other comments should be posted elsewhere

yeah man - sounds good in theory.. but I'm not sure everyone is interested in this idea now. I haven't heard anyone else come up with alternate suggestions tho ?!
We might just have to get some OST entrant t-shirts made up or something?... Save the elaborate japanese theme for Autosalon.

and I think we are all eagerly awaiting what is gonna happen with the 600 odd cars they don't have room for.

Ross/Dean... are you still prepared to work on the OST starlet BBQ ?
Aaron is supposed to be organising a big undercover tent/marque thingo
If there is appropriate shelter provided by big Az, then me and John are gonna DJ the weekend.
I have the OST signage from last year..

What else needs to be organised?
