The spring pressure is where the gate will opemn at with no form of boost control ( bleed or electronic boost solenoid) hooked up.
The optimum is to have a spring pressure closest to the amount of boost you plan to run this will enable a minium amount of wastegate creep.
You will beable to run higher boost than the 5 psi but it will need to be bleed off the air to the gate.
I.e i run a spring pressure of 16 psi so that i can control a boost of 30 psi with minium creep.
The only down side to this is that i can only run a minium boost of 16 psi.--- what a shame![]()
