the 4 link setup at the top looks like it is designed for drag racing (is that what the car is intended to do?)
to reduce noise, you could use bushes all round, or just on the ends of the links that mount to the body.
with any of the three top photos, you would need to run a panhard rod or watts link for lateral location, in the one at the bottom the "triangle" top links do this.
you are right about the sliding (and welding) vs welding on, the slide on mopunt would take a lot of effort to get on, would have to basically remake the whole diff, i;d just do with the weld on mount.
the slide on would be a bit stronger, but i don;t think it owuld be worth the extra effort.
