Sorry I got the pic but didn't get a chance to upload it. But its all good wilbo to the rescue!
Thanks Guys
This reminds me...
I have modified intake piping on my 1J (done by someone else), and they have used the std blow off valve, but they haven't used the t piece or white valve in the picture.
Can anyone actually tell me (for sure) what the function of the white valve is (90925-0159 in the epc diagram)?
Is it possible for the BOV to work properly without it?
Thanks
Peter
ps - sorry for the hijak
Is the white thing a one way valve or just a filter
im pretty sure its a one way valve. same as on the standard bpv on a mr2.
*hearts* his 4age powered KE70 Panelvan!
Hi, Im enthused about corollas..
It's a one way valve that takes out any gases in the bottom of the bov diaphram. So it'll close and seal properly.

Best bet would be from repco or a performance shop.
PS: my mate has a stock 1jz bov for sale

I have the BOV just not the one way valve, i'm guessing it lets are out but pervents it from going in??
im in the process of gettin my 1j going properly and i managed to break that bloody
one way valve
let us know if you get a replacement and where from how much etc
fear the chicks car
Mojo_type - breaking that valve was an expensive thing to do!
I just got quoted $73 for a new one from Galleria Toyota (two available ex-east).
I hope you can find a cheaper alternative.

Peter
