    Default 4age under drive pulleys

    hmmm kaay....

    i remember seeing on an engine (i think it was bill's) a nevo pulley on the water pump...

    now, was i on crack that day OR do these excist (underdrive water pump pulleys)

    i dont think i was getting confused with gze over drive pulleys...or maybe i am

    anyway, if underdrive ones do excist...what do they acheive?

    sure they exist...

    they... underdrive (slow down) the water pump, so they don't cavitate at HIGH rpm... for road speeds, you wil probably not need.
    for race speeds, the pump may not do enough at idle

    Talk to John. He is discontinuing the Silvertop ones but I think he still does the 16V ones. + what Oldrollas said.

    Yep I had Johnno make up a set of under-drive specially for me. It was a one-off set, he's not doing those anymore unfortunately. They weren't good for running the engine in as it ran hotter than what I would have liked, but after some K's on the engine to settle everything down I put the big water pump pulley back on and it ran cooler than before.
    Big thumbs-up for John's work, it's superb in every way.

    which remminds me i should give the jet setter a ring to see how he is going and how many steering racks he sold
