    love to hear how it goes when you get it running

    but really ...why would you mess with a high comp 2J-ge when for the same money you could bolt a stock 1j short block in there and have a bullet proof 260+++ rwkw!!!!! with that raad turbo setup

    im pushing well over 300kw from a dead stock never undone 1j short block plus it makes 170rwkw at only 4000 rpm ..... think about it ... thats more hp than an LS1 V8 at full 6000 reves!! ...... so the torque of the 1j is massive to say the least

    with that cool turbo setup you should be able to do that effortlessly and reliably with a 1j and never be limited - or have to worry about too much compression!

    just my thoughts

    good luck with it looks like a great project ... what body is it in?

    ps you could also sell things like the 1j head and 2j bits, im looking for some second hand 2j-gte pistons as an investigation project for my 1j if you want to sell them
