the beams fitted to the st202 that came with LSD is the S54, i know this for a fact as i did a conversion for a guy called Wayne over here in WA about a month ago. We had the halfcut and the build plate said S54

BTW, any idea what the axle code was for the S54 on the build plate? Would be good to know what actually indicates an LSD-equipped S54.

wayne posted the gearbox code on ozcelica right before it went down (which is why I asked for that pic of your ST202 build plate matt ) - kicking myself for not recording it!

The crossbar doesn't indicate an LSD is present, atleast in an S series box. If you go down to your local toyota wrecker and have a look around you'll see that all of the S boxes have that cross bar no matter what car they're from. Not sure if the same applies to the E series boxes.

1MZ-FE V6 Camries also have the E153 gearbox (non-lsd of course), though the Oz spec wide body driveshafts (from the inner CV outwards) are too long to fit into anything else.

I've always wanted to fit an LSD into the Caldina, which has an S series box.
Will the factory LSD go in presuming in change the inner CVs too?
I don't want to change boxes because the petrol ratios would be all wrong for my car & I'm sick of the inner wheelspin all the time.
