yes you have to take the whole fuel rail off. do it in this order

    1. clean your engine with degreaser then hose off and dry (or take steps to keep it all clean)

    2. unlpug your fuel pump/ relay/fuse or whatever and turn the car over with the pump not running (this gets rid of the pressure in the system and you wont spray fuel all over the place)

    3. loosen fuel rail bolts

    4. twist injectors a bit to loosen them up

    5. remove fuel rail, watching where all the O rings fall so you can find them

    6. remove injectors, try not to drop dirt down the injector holes.

Theres some decent ultrasonic cleaners on ebay. http://search.ebay.com.au/search/sea...sonic+cleaners I picked one up for work. Think the unit i got is made by unisonics, but that was ages ago. Its definatly paid for itself, with the amount of cycles it has done. Only advise I can tell is that you should get big litrage capacity for larger stuff.

I haven't actually done it before but i plan to in the near future. I say follow the process & pull the fuel rail out and pop em in. Might have to give em a bit of a clean with a new toothbrush first. Make sure you dont get anything foreign inside them and dry em out fully. Maybe blow em out with some compressed air after get the left over water out. Let us know if you go ahead n do it. Cheers
