Late generation T50 gearbox into TA22?

Have tried to search for this but can't find anything through that avenue.

I am led to believe that the gear stick in the later T50 gearboxes are positioned further back on the gearbox compared to the first generation in the early Celica's.

What mods are required to fit a later gen T50 gearbox into a TA22?
