A340 experts

Hiya,
I have a M&V built box from behind an aristo 2JZTT. Decent stallie as well. I want to put this behind a 1UZ and at face value it just looks like a bellhousing swap? Is there more to it?

Care to be more specific? They are both ECU controlled boxes...no cables here

Which version of the 1UZ are you using? Does the loom plug into the JZ transmission? Does the torque converter bolt up to the flex plate? Is the torque converter in the correct position when assembled? The lower ratios and stallie will help get you going.

They are the questions I’ve asked ie all the questions ;-)

So far BH swap takes care of converter it seems. Converter bolts up to flex plate. UZ uses ecu controlled tranny and I’m hoping the plugs are the same....it would be strange of Toyota not to but possible? I’ll drag the boxes side by side but if someone knew I could rest easy for a few weeks yet.
