Hi N GK Irraway 8 will do the trick 2J 450hp@tw for 3 years no probs.
Hey all.
Bin doing some googling to try and find the most powerful bada55 set of spark plugs i can get for my 3sgte and im even more confused now than when i started...
Bin running ngk irridium 7s and they seem ok but im sure i can upgraded further...
Had issues running on 3 pots for ages and after replacing my whole ignition system lol and looking at the sparks (small white) im not that impressed!
Any of you guys running Brisk Evos or Pulstar Plasma plugs or Nologly's on a boosted application? Ive heard mixed reviews.
What are the pros and cons of diy removing the resistors from my ngk irridiums for an even bigger badder blue'r spark? Dumb idea?
Ive used copper and platinium 7s before but she ran rougher (played with the gaps too 0.7 - 0.8mm made no diffrentce)
Got uprated generic silicon 8mm ignition leads, do leads contain resistors in the boot on the 3sgte? Resistence was between 2-8 ohms when i checked them...
Sorry for all the daft questions, bin working loads of overtime and im thinkin of splashing some more cash on my stock ignition.
Amy advice is as always massive appreciated!
Thanks Chris

Pretty sure I run the Iriway 8's in my car too. 7AGTE @ 500hp.
.
You will want to run resistor leads and plug in a car with EFI,
or it can cause interference issues.
2-8 ohms for HT leads does not sound like they are resistor leads,
and IMO Toyota coils suck for spark output.

For spark like an arc welder, you need something like this...
There are many different mounting brackets available, and plenty of coil choices. Most setups are designed to mount on LS engines, so you have to sort thru and find a bracket/coil/plug wire combo that will work in your engine bay.
Otherwise, stick with Denso COP's as they have a good rep for a lower cost upgrade over single coil and distributor ignition systems. Best plugs in the world don't do much unless you have enough spark energy.
