Would the rt132 have the same strut as the rt104 popular strut?
is so. A simple ra60 brake upgrade (4 stud) would work with minor work.
Or an ra65 hub and disc for 5 stud pattern.
U can use new vented discs and upgrade pads. Just a thought.
Howdy!
i have a 1980 Toyota Corona RT132 build happening atm, this includes already a 1jz engine swap.
Eventually i am looking at getting this project certified so its roadworthy.
I already have a 8.8 rear ford explorer diff which includes the rear disc brake setup, this should be enough brake upgrade for the rear.
However i am in need of suspension ideas and ideas on how to upgrade the front disc setup i already have?
The simpler the better, i know you can get anything made but if someone knows of a front strut and improved brake setup that will fit the corona RT132 then i am all ears as that will save me money if they easy to get hold of that is.
any help appreciated!

Cheers for the thoughts Omegaman! Doing some research it seems the RT132 can be used for a RA28, straight bolt on. I am now on a search path to find out if they both the same as couple of threads mention how RA28 owners just used RT132 struts instead. if this is true Techno toy tuning have a big brake kit for a straight bolt on for the RA28 which i could use for the front and maybe even upgrade the struts to coilovers.
on your rt132 the easiest brake swap with the stock struts will be the pug/lux swap using rda272 and ln106 calipers. Omegaman, rt104 are double wishbone and ra65 are 4 stud, exactly the same as ra60, that aside ra60/5 struts and brakes will bolt in to an rt132. I hae the pug/lux setup on my rt104 stub axles as the share the same caliper mounting bolt spacing with the xt130, rt132, rt133 and a few hilux's (including the ln106). hope this helps.
Cheers, Peter.
