    Default E series diffs

    Yes another Diff question
This time im asking for opinions not facts/specs
LIsted as 7.1 inch is it worth while upgrading from a 6.7inch T series,
Im not running a super powerful setup but im looking at 200RWHP
200 Horsies is right on the upper limit of a T series would the little bit extra be enough?
    Cheers
    Rohan

i'm confused, the poll is for an F diff, yet the thread is about an E diff, which one are you gonna get? i reckon the T will break, the E will be alright, if your a responsible driver and the F will definately be fine.

might need to change the poll to E series

i dont think LSD's were ever made for them and none are available now so it would suck......200rwhp and no LSD??

    hilux's were either 5 or 6 stud.

there are no F series diffs that are less than 1410mm wide as well. TA22's are 1375 IIRC.

early 5 stud hilux were 1375 though

ba bwo, wrong! hilux's have G series, which would be overkill, and they are all 5 stud or 6 stud(4WD).

although, these are even easier to get ratio's and lsd's for, so you might consider this if you were planning to up the power later

not quite true, the RA25 has an F diff, but that doesn't really count.

what ratio are you after?there are several different cars you can get them from, and i believe you can buy new sets too. mx13/23 have 3.91:1, ms85 have 4.1:1, ra65 have 3.5ish?:1.

4.3:1 would allow you to blast off the line much quicker, ie the 4wd type ratio

3.5:1 would allow you to set the land speed record....well not really but you get the point
