my SC14 fitting guide

For anyone not using a AW11 block, here is what i done a little different to the above instructions.

Firstly, when I mounted the sc14 on the lower bracket, even with the spacer washer in place, the pulley was still sitting too far back for the belt to line up. So with a little guidance from Adsport, I grinned into the lower bracket, about 4mm, to allow the charger to move further forward.


This meant that there was no need to fully remove the front bottom bolt hole of the suction pipe.


I also made a small bracket to hold the dipstick in place.

Finished result looks like this;

Good to see a couple of different ways to do it.

Is there any write up of how to fit SC14 with N/A manifold in RWD chassis (AE86)?

I know you asked this some time ago but if you haven't found your answers there is one for a SC12 with N/A manifold. You could combine the info from both write ups.

I'm sure between them there's enough info to lay your hands on the tools & work through it.
