Historic rego and greenslip is $50ish per year
But you can only use it 60 days of the year.

Hi everyone
I've only just recently gotten more involved in ToyMods and loved the Wisemans Ferry cruise this year. What a beautiful day that was!
My precious 75 TA22 is now coming up for her registration renewal and I've been reading all the wonderful information about classic and historic registrations.
For the life of me I can't tell what the advantage is over me just re-registering my car again like I normally do. I am assuming it's some sort of discount on the registration but it's not clear on the RMS site either.
Can anyone enlighten me?
Thanks

Thanks Rod, makes perfect sense now. My poor girl would be lucky to be driven 20 days a year so I'll look into the historic rego and investigate what Shannons can do vs my current insurer.
Hi I have a 1990 Toyota Celica (pop up headlights). Its 27 yrs old. Can this car be registered as a historic car I don't really want to get rid of it.
