take spark plugs out, squirt oil in, turn it over a few times. turn it over every couple of months.. maybe??

gearbox should be ok... you could give the inpt shaft a spin every now and again.... but should be ok.

oh... store them inside and tape up the intake/exhaust ports

    tyres'll do..

all you are really worried abotu is keping oil on the bores and bearings so they don't rust... bore is main issue...

if injected, you could pull the injectors and fulsh them and the rail... stop them gumming up, and if carby, do the same...

just thought id add to this thread as it is something i worry about often as my car can sit around for long periods at times up to 12 months.
the car sits outside under the car port and it gets FN cold some nights and i get concerned about moisture causing the bores to start to rust.

I turn it over by hand atleast one a fortnight and have done the oil down the bore stuff but i still get concerned ( PARANOID AS THERE IS LOTS OF MONEY INVOLVED )

The reason i bring this up is today i had to remove the valve springs in my motor which is in the car ( fun fun ) so that i could measure up installed valve height and work out how much lift is possible with my springs.

I had the air compressor hooked up to cylindr no 1 for a couple hours while i fart assed around with stuff.

I drained my compressor of water before i connected it to the motor but i still get concerned about water in the air lines effecting the bore after such a long time

GEEZ im a fussy bastard!!!!! . Id love a bore scope so i could check the condition of the bores
