ST141 diff?

G'day guys
im looking at rear diffs for my TA22, im looking for info on the ST 141 diff i was told that they are decently "beefy"
any on know what series they are? and got any info eg face-face length?

I think that would be a borg warner diff like the ones used on live axle holdens.

the axles of a ST141 bog warmer are slightly bigger than the T series by <1mm. SO DONT DO IT!!! .

remember the bog warmers arent as easy to change centres cause they are rear loading diffs (whatever the term is)

there probly isnt LSD's available for them either..... F series LSD's are readily available and even T series LSD's can be found.


its definately not worth the effort. if your car hasnt got a T series already, then find one of them. the next moderately easy diff upgrade is the hilux diff, but thats only needed for 200+hp.

id have a guess and say that the width is 1410, drum face to drum face

what is your reason for wanting to change the diff anyway?

some say that r31 lsd's fit so in theory if commonwhore lsd fits an r31 then in "Theory" a commonwhores lsd should fit the st i've thorght about it but i rekon a cig centre is a hell of a lot easyer
