    Default ! HELP ! Jzx90 1JZ-GE VVTI Speed sensor Problem

    Hello Everyone

    Im having a big problem with my 1jz-ge vvti. I have a gx90 mark 2 which run by the 1g-fe engine. I swapped to 1jz-ge vvti . This engine get the speed sensor reading from abs. My car has no abs. So in this situation what i need to do??
    My speedometer is Machanical .And my car has no abs .

    you must get a signal converter.

    there is a 2wire speed sensor at the back of the gearbox that you need to tap into (sp2+ at the ecu) and convert to a 12v square wave signal that the dash will recognise.
    there is also an "SPD" wire that comes FROM the dash cluster and feeds this signal back to the ecu (SPD pin on the ecu) otherwsie it will not enagage overdrive (4th gear)
