You'd probably want to pick some quick cars and good drivers for that event!

Isn't it a hillclimb up the Elbow and through the Esses?

EDIT: Looks like last year was one day up the Esses, and the other day up the Cutting/Reid Park

Pretty sure last year was the Super Sprint which is through Conrod, the chase, and across the finish line on the Saturday, and then Cutting Reid Park on Sunday.

That is the 'standard' 2 day event.

On the Saturday racing, the awe inspiring downhill section of the circuit was reversed and turned into an uphill.....Sunday saw a return to the mountain, but this time the standard climb of the mountain.

Certainly have. The only event I haven't done is the Esses Descent.

The Mountain Straight hill climb can be a bit intimidating, 160km/h over the top of the mountain makes you feel alive!

The Super Sprint is fine, plenty of space everywhere, unless it is wet!

I'm certainly aiming to do the Nulon Nationals event...just need to get it running again.

let me know if you sort your car. lots of people want to do bathurst (for obvious reasons) so i am going to be juggling entrants

Ok so my car is unlikely to be ready for bathurst but on the plus side that means more spots for others! So let me know asap if you want to enter the bathurst hillclimb, it is a two day event (Saturday/Sunday May 13/14). Basic info for the weekend:

Friday night drinks and welcoming in the Rydges hotel bar, everybody welcome. Rydges have done us a group booking of 165 a night for a 2 bed room. Link is here - https://www.rydges.com/private-page/...l-climb-event/ *get them while they are hot*

· Saturday morning

· 7:00am driver sign on opens in the V8 pits
· 7:30am scrutineering opens
· 8:00am Driver briefing
· 8:30am group 1 to staging box
· 8:45am racing starts
· 9:00am Nulon VIP viewing platform opens for family and friends of entered drivers (Grass area outside the Rydges hotel, this is the best view, only 2M from the track)
· 4:30pm Pro Class last on track for the day
· 5:00pm Results tallied by BLCC for Nulon. Day 1 is complete
· 7:30pm *Special event, Nulon racing oil official launch at Rydges hotel* Food and beers included
· 9:30pm Open bar only has 5 mins left so get another drink
· 10:30pm Go to bed as tomorrow is the Mountain straight hillclimb

Vito - probably worthwhile chatting to some people at Dubbo this weekend to sound out interest levels in person too.

I'd love to do it, just to have driven Bathurst in anger..... but i dont have the ability nor experience to do it properly i think.
Guys like Ben, Roundy, Matt (yojimbo), Greg (draven, if he still drives his supra), yourself, harreh and others have much more track experience.

Let's talk on the weekend tho, before we get too drunk.

yes we will talk on the weekend. honestly it doesnt matter if youre inexperienced. we arent gonna win anyway so i just want people who will have fun, and who wont pike at the last minute and leave me in the shit

also to stress again - if you wanna race in this series you must have a cams L2S

so karl is out due to the weekend being on mothers day, any other takers? i have two spots at the moment, and you need to commit to both sat and sun and have a cams L2S as stated above
