7mgte ping noise from head

Hi can anyone give advice on what upgrades i should do to my engine 7mgte as i will be pulling off the head soon as a loud knock noise is coming from the head. Im running 3inch exhaust, microtech cpu, stantard CT26, front mount, after market fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, aftermarket coil packs. head has ARP bolts with copper gasket, the engine dyno was 197KW at the wheels? I've been looking at cams for the head or should i just fix it to standard spec and go for a bigger turbo bang for buck?

Fix the head, set of injectors and bigger turbo.
They do make power, the stock heads are good and the bottom end will do it. Any turbo that works on a 2JZ will work just as good (maybe a bit better, 7MGTE heads out flow 2JZGTE heads from memory)

If the deck is good and your head is hard, I would be fucking off the copper gasket for a MLS.
Probably drill that extra hole in it if you havent already.
