Hey guys,
I am a removalman by trade emptying people's abandon houses and helping people move house, office etc to be honest quite a lot of hard labor for me and even more labor for the poor Ford Transit,
The Transit has been running (into the ground) but fine for 3 years now no problems starts first time every time like a dream handels very well and very comfortable. She gets serviced all the time before the mileage says that i should even know i run her hard i still believe if i look after my van my van looks after me
But here comes where i need help a few days ago the engine started to make some strange loud whining, clanking noises even when ticking over, When ever i put the peddle to the metal the noise stops unless the the engine is just louder than the problem? i checked my engine and found a slit in my intercooler hose so i got an intercooler hose fixed it was not even the problem kinda a waste of time maybe me just wishing it was that. When searching online a lot of sites are pushing me towards the camshaft pulley and then looking through classified ads camshaft pulley sites it is all sounding like a garage trip!! what does everyone think on here???
What else could it be?? any advice would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
