This is my third toyota my first was a 4runner with a 3.8 conversion the second a camry ''which i still have'' and now this rolla.
What do i need to look out for with it? Its done 100000 now and it seems good, The clutch and gearbox are fine but i have my doubts about them after reading up.
I love driving this car the motor really surprised me. That lift feature snaps on nice for a little engine, You can really utilize it for fast overtakes and just general fun.
Oh and my names Raph i live on the sunny coast of QLD. I build guitars for fun and have a small family here.

I like these, I've driven a couple. Much like the 7th gen Celicas but more practical.
Gearboxes are fine, engines are fine, it's driver error in 90% of cases that kills them.
100 000kms is nothing. There was a 7th gen Celica on gumtree in tas a couple of months back that had done 400 000kms on the original engine.
Whats the driver error you speak of? Smashing them through gears while trying to maintain lift hehe? Fortunately i only get to ever hit lift in one or so gears as i drive with my 2 boys in the car most the time.
I have read a bit on syncro mesh gears having to be replaced and all sorts so I'm a little scared to give it heaps. I didnt think 100000 was many k's and that's part of the reason i got this over other cars.
Missing gears is the common cause.
Na 100 000kms isn't much
This is actually the tech section, maybe post or move to member rides.
Yes the forum has slowed down a bit.
The toymods can move it.
