Default Supra 1.5jz with 2jzgte ecu

    Hi everyone I have a bit of a problem😞
    I've wired a 2jzgte ecu to my 1jzgte loom so I can run my 550cc injectors .
The car struck right up and was running lumpy for about 5 mins while the ecu sorted it's self out.
I have one problem really it idles ok but very rich at 10afr
But when I go to Rev the car it don't won't to .like its stopping the engine but if I do it slow it kinda revs
Ish it just seems not responsive .
What sort of stuff should I be checking .
    Tps
    Vacs but all seem good
Could it be the fuel pump ?
Can't understand why it's rich but saying this it was rich on the 1jzgte ecu for some reason with the 380s fitted . So it's got me thinking it's not the 2jzgte ecu as it was like it before with the 1jzgte ecu .
    Puzzling .
    Thanks Lee

Ive just gone to strike it up when I turn the key and press the throttle streight away it will Rev full for 2 sec s then it won't Rev up at all just will only idle . Sorry for all the little posts just letting you no the symptoms as I go .👍
It's like dead spot right after its started revs then struggles everytime I go 1 inch on the throttle dies out

2JZGTE JDM spec should be running 440cc injectors, not 550cc....if you running a JDM ECU, no wonder its running rich!

Non-vvti runs a MAP sensor, vvti runs a MAF...

1JZ with 500cc less swept capacity than a 2JZ is still going to run seriously rich off boost and up to stock boost...its gonna run rich, bog down and probably foul plugs unless you back of the (already rich) stock 2JZ fuelling...

Be aware thats a USDM TSRM...but I suspect is correct for your application other than being for LHD

1UZ-FE MAF is same as 7M-GTE (electronics wise)...its not the MAF electronics that is paired to the injector size, its the MAF body...on the 7M-GTE the 1UZ-fe MAF body (with either 1UZ-fe or 7M-GTE electronics) is sized pretty well for 550cc injectors on a 3L (its a common 'old school' mod for more boost/airflow). Basically the larger body allows more air flow with the same signal from the Karman Vortex sensor, which "compensates" for the bigger injectors. The injector control is in the ECU, so you just need a MAF body that flows around 25% more air than the original to keep fuelling in balance. You might ne able to achieve this with a 1UZ-fe body and fiddling with the bleed screw...

I have a after market air intake on the single turbo so I would need to fit it to that or I could change and down size it.
I think I can get hold of a v8 maf I've looked them up and there's to sorts one like the vvti one and the other is round .
