Hi All,
I have for sale my restored TA22 shell. The shell was a ground up, bare metal body restoration which was done a few years ago. The build consisted of the obvious sand blast to bare metal, all rust repaired with either metal or factory original new sections, file finish with touches of bog/putty. Paint consisted of primer, base coat and then paint and followed with clear coat. Clear coat was never cut back and buffed as i didnt want to do that till the car was finished.
You can see/read the build at http://www.toymods.org.au/forums/thr...-Fire-Blood-22
It has since been sitting in the garage only ever being moved around when needed. As such there are a number of paint chips that have occured over the years from storage and moving, but nothing that takes away from the whole body itself. The chips could be repaired for a few hundred dollars or a full respray could be done.
What you will get is as follows:

Asking price $5000. This does not include freight or towing of any kind.
As a reference, to get the shell and brake upgrade to where it is now cost me over $15k. I have spoken to a number of members on the forum who have all said that their bare metal builds right now are costing $10k+ for the body alone which doesnt include the cost of sandlbast, towing to and fro, etc. So you can get everything for half price. My massive loss will be your gain.
I have checked ebay and gumtree and there are a few TA22s out there for $500-$1500. so you could have your self an awesome TA22 all done and dusted around $10k by swapping the parts from a cheap rusted car to this one.
I also have a heap of TA22 parts for sale.
Pics of the car uplodade to http://s90.photobucket.com/user/fade...TA22%20Rebuild.
Viewing of the car itself is welcome by prior arrangement. Please no time wasters as it is a hassle getting the car in and out of the garage everytime as there are belongings around the car.
cheers
