So it turns out that the c56 hub no 2 is not compatible with the pre 91 c52 third gear synchro so this means I also have to run the c52 fourth gear and synchro with a c52 hub no 2. So unless I want to experiment and buy new style c56 gears and synchros for third and fourth I have just managed to turn my c56 into a c52 when all I had planned was to fit my lsd and replace third and second synchros!! Shouldln't be too much of an issue with my 7age (once finished) I was actually fast around Sandown with c52 anyway!!
Now I have a brand new third gear synchro for an early c56 or post 4/91 c52. Anyone need one?
