Ok TOYOTA TECHS . I want to fit a W50 gearbox on to a 3t toyota engine . Is there a std bell-houseing from the Toyota range that will do it or is anyone making a adapter ?

you can also use a G series bell, though clutch slave is on the exhaust side.
there is a factory W-T bell, rare and expensive
or as above, there are adaptor plates

The G series bellhousing will not fit a W50.Bolt pattern is totally different.
Cheers Brett.
Yes but 55, 57 and 58 fit... Still W series boxes.

I am using a 3t w50 bellhousing for my 1ggeu. Bolts up perfect. W55,57,58 bellhousings do not fit to w50s. If I were you I'd be looking at cars running w40s for the T series bellhousings.
