    Default regrinding 2tg cams

I am wanting to get my 2tg cams reground at 286 degress duration from camtech cams
My question is can i use these cams with my stock 2tg pistons or will i have to enlarge the valve reliefs?

Ive read on the 2tg dedicated thread that you can use 288/272 cams with stock pistons but if you go larger than this you need different pistons.

It appears that you are answering your own question. 286 is smaller than 288 by 2 degrees. 286 is larger than 272 by 14 degrees. If the info you site is correct, your inlet will be fine but your Ex will have problems.
If you think that going 2 deg smaller on inlet will net you a safety margin. Your well wrong.

Is the engine in pieces, or are you looking to bolt these into the engine you have?
