The eastern melb boys are comming out of the woodwork! I need a replacement drivers side head light lip/bezel as mine is cracked (4WD - Mud Gaurds + Road Work = holly shit rock storm!)And does it have the little bit of plastic that sit in the center consol under the cup holders that stops cans falling through, when its not full of junk....
Oh and i need the plastic bits that go either side of the windscreen as one has always been missing, and the other flew off whilst well over the designated speed limit :S

I would be quite wary using paint stripper on any fiddly bits under a bonnet. That shit will get into nooks and crannys everywhere, and then start a rust hole a year down the track. There have been some great points on painting here... especially the one about using a compressor rather than spray tins... it does look a million times better, and its a whole lot easier on your spraying fingerI would suggest using thinner coats and doing more of them between sands for your primer, as a thick coat, especially the first time you try spraying anything, will tend to have soft spots when you go to sand it. This is a pain in the arse, and can bring tears to an afternoon. I usually put on 3 or so coats of primer, then sand. The sanding is usually a lot easier then too.
A major pointer that i have from hanging out with a few painters is to let your primer dry for a week or 2 before doing the final sand and spraying with top coat. Primer is a strange critter, and tends to shrink and expand in wierd ways, and will soon crack your topcoat if its not left to settle. Make sure you sand it after it has settled, as it will have changed shape and will create high and low spots.

Awsome help dudes. Thanks. Might try and rope my old man and a mate to paint it for me.
Still, that can come later first thing first. Get the front engine mount in, and the fuel tank in (the one without the hole in it) and get my stereo in.
