LS400 modification paths...

A friend of mine just got himself a bit of Japan, a really nice LS400. I imagine exhaust, ECU and intake are some of the first things to do, but how about a shift kit for the auto, and coilovers? Do they come with a factory LSD?

I’m in the process of building a LS400 right now. Parts aren’t as easy to find, as say a more common make but still available if you search.

Not all came with a LSD from factory.. But I’m lead to believe most LSD’s and mechanical lockers will fit from other “G series” diff housings.

...at least it WAS until he did just like everyone else and stuck Lexus badges on it...


Definately do all of the things suggested though - he can only love the result.
