Default UZZ31 Soarer Air suspension height questions!

    Hi,

I have a few questions regarding the UZZ31 with airbag suspension.

My drivers side suspension is way too high.

*My height switch on the console has stopped lighting up.
*Compressor works when button is turned on to high.
*Car does not actually raise that much higher.
*Front right is always the same height.
*Upon getting out of the car, it goes "psssshhhhh".

Drivers front has a 2 inch gap sometimes 3 inches - from wheel to guard - as if it is stuck on HIGH.
Car reported error code 84 (someone on another forum said this was the height sensor, and it is 15mm higher than it should be. Caused by bad wire, faulty sensor, or so on).

I can't find code 84 anywhere - or information online.
The only code 84 I can find is on the UZZ32 (with a completely different suspension setup to the UZZ31).
The code above matches what code 84 is on a UZZ32.

What exactly does code 84 mean on a UZZ31 Soarer?

OK, another question - the important question.
If i adjust the height rod, will that actually lower the car if it has a sensor issue?
I assume that if i lower the rod, and the car does NOT lower, then the sensor is stuffed.

    Any pointers?

    Thanks

    P.S.
No leaks as far as I can tell.
    The car is never dumped.
Compressor only comes on when in 'high' mode.
    Compressor is not constantly on.
All other corners are the proper height.
Sometimes the rear right is a half inch or less higher than rear left, but I put that down to a wonky driveway...
    I could be wrong.

    Just curious...
If the Soarer is well driven, would the height rods de-adjust themselves and require regular adjusting every 20 thousand k's or similar?

Do they move position by themselves due to rugged roads, or extended driving and require adjusting?
Or once set, are they never supposed to ever move again?
