Default ta22 long nose 1 gate

i have a 1ggte in my ra28 which is coming out and getting a 1jz, i am wanting to put the 1g into my other car , a ta 22 long nose, i know no-one has put this engine in a jdm 22 before but if it can go in to a standard 22 then it will go in to the long nose as it is about 1 inch longer than the standard 22, i think it should fit but it would be handy if anyone could give me a measurement from the firewall to the front of the 1g engine, and if anyone has done this conversion into a 22 what x member did you use,
heres the 22 long nose i want to put the 1g into
    thanks david

your ta22 long nose will be better off and worth more if you leave it as std .why not turbo the 2tg that is in it ,also they are getting a bit thin on the ground these days and there price is going up ,yours in good condition would be in the 20 grand aussie

i found a thread where a 1g was put into a ta22 and it was major fabrication, i also did some more measuring yesterday and while the long nose is about an inch longer than a stsndard 22 the distance between the firewall and the centre of the strut turret is the same so i would need to cut the wall or move the motor forward which isn't going to happen, the car has a 2tgeu but runs on 40s carbs, with the lower compression engine it would be more suitable for turbo charging, i looked at a blow through system buti have read mixed reports on using the 40s, i do have a new garrett turbo sitting in the garage so this might be the road to go down although i am a bit wary of forced induction on a 40 year old motor but the compression is even on the cylinders , also looked at the 3t, rebore cams and 45s but expensive and every penny is a prisoner as my 28 is bleading me dry so i need a good bang for buck, has anyone here turbo a tg using the 40s as trying to find a efi set up would be near impossible here
