    Default RT40 Corona questions

I've just got a few questions about RT40 "shovelnose" Coronas.

    1) Can the original 2R motor be fairly easily swapped for something a little more powerful? I still want to keep it carby'd

    2) What disc brake setup will fit? Can discs be fitted on the rear as well as the front?

    3) Can an electronic ignition be fitted to the 2R engine or any of the other engines that I can fit easily?

    4) Do the RT40's have sealed beam headlights? Can they be easily upgraded to an H4?

    5) Can I fit power steering to an RT40?

    6) How hard would it be to fit inertia reel seatbelts in the front?

    7) Can I easily fit a decent size BOSCH alternator with an internal reg?

    8) What about fitting air conditioning?

    9) What mag wheels will fit easily?

    Cheers, Gab

If you want more power on the cheap an 18R will be a big improvement over the 2R as its what I am running in mine.H4 lights can be used as I have done the conversion using a 30amp light relay and yes you can also do the alternator upgrade.Power steer is a waste of time same with air con.any 4x114.3 wheel will fit.
    Cheers Brett.
