Just some quick questions.
Can I use a Wakefield Park License?
Can multiple drivers (with licenses) share a car?
If so, put me down.
Knightrous - GC8 WRX (Unless I get my AW11 going first).
Hmmm, so I thought I posted this thread a few weeks ago, and was just thinking how quiet it's been and I hadn't had any post notifications for a while... I also thought i'd posted the dates for this year in the last thread of 2014 too, but doesn't look like it. Either there is mischief afoot from forum gremlins, or i'm just a bit shit.
So, first day of the year is a couple of months later than usual - not sure why but probably availability of Fridays down there. Dates for the days this year are;
Friday 17th April (this one)
Friday 26th June
Friday 14th August, &,
Friday 13th November
Oh well, on with the copypaste...
All the usual info, cost is $200 per car, anybody who's been will attest it's awesome value for the amount of track time you get. Even if it's a busy day, you still get a heap of laps, particularly if you time your sessions well.We run a limited number of cars so you pay per car and can cycle as many drivers through one car as you like, it's open track all day with a limit of 12 on circuit and a one in one out basis, so you can go out when you want. I have the usual 15 spots reserved for Toymodders but can usually find a few more if i need them.
Accomodation has for the last several times been in town at the Alpine Heritage with the MWSCC guys, the pub has an awesome feed and reasonable beer selection. We usually stay Thursday and Friday nights but you're welcome to stay both, either one or drive down and back on the day. I recommend steak, beer and sleep after a long track day.
Bring valid CAMS or road licence, helmet, neck/wrist/ankle length clothing and beverages if staying (accom is about $50/night depending on numbers).
No official timing means cheaper insurance (and therefore track time) and passengers are allowed for 'driver training purposes', but feel free to organise your own timing gear. So, when you commit to coming, i will PM bank details to transfer to (incl for accomodation to book spots) - oh and important point for the regulars out there, as of the beginning of 2014 i have a new mobile number and new banking details, so if you haven't been to a day since 2013 you don't have the right ones. So don't transfer to the old details, PM me for the new ones - then when i see the coin ($200 + $50/night) i will add you to this...

Wakefield licence: Yes
Multiple drivers: Yes, as long as they all have CAMS/wakefield licences
Also, my car goes off the road in 2 weeks for mods to be finished... should be all done by then. New turbo, new injcetors, new wheels, new tyres.. should be fun
Will see if I make this one?. Supposed to be doing Ringwood hillclimb tomorrow but could not get my shit together in time for it. have new front tyres here and rears on their way.
Car not running right and I dont have the leave or the money to spare atm
Pending work, deff keen for a day on the limiter now I have an oil cooler that works
Good to hear we have a few keen - have responded to a couple of PMs. Bit over a month away so still time to get cars and leave sorted.

garth, do you want me to start promoting these trackdays on our facebook? i noticed the numbers werent so great last year, and most people seem to be on bookface these days. i can give you mod access to put up events if you want
Just checking dates and better try and make this one as August is Mrs's Birthday and Nov will be in QLD for MR2 Nats.
Definitely keen, need to make sure I can get my brakes fitted first (fronts at least)

Aaron, money received. List updated. I - and a few others - am/are really keen for this. Not sure if it's the longer wait instead of Feb but i'm itching to get out there.
